Amon Kotei
A distinguished Ghanaian artist and teacher, and designer of the coat of arms of Ghana. His best known works are probably his figure studies and genre scenes. Kotei studied at the Achimota School in Accra, and the London School of Printing and Graphic Arts. He worked in the Cartographic Division of the Army during WW2, drawing maps and plans for use by soldiers at the war front.
