Dorothy F. Sweet
Dorothy Sweet was a skilful engraver and etcher of landscapes and architectural scenes, which were mostly set in London or the London region. She exhibited with various galleries, and with the Society of Women Artists.

The etching shows the construction of the Adelaide House office building on Lower Thames Street, London, visible just beyond St. Magnus the Martyr church. The building was completed in the mid-1920s, and was the city's tallest commercial building at that time.
