John Gilmore Wolcott
John Gilmore Wolcott is noted for his portraits and landscapes, and also produced work under the pen name of Nicholas de Mandeville. He was President of the Whistler House Museum of Art, and exhibited widely, including a number of works shown at the 1939 World's Fair in New York. His interests spanned a number of areas, and he was also a mural painter, cartoonist, lecturer, teacher and writer.
