Norman Lloyd

Landscape painter, born in New South Wales, Australia. Studied in Sydney, and exhibited in Sydney and Melbourne, then moved to Europe, studying in France and Italy before settling in London. He exhibited 10 works at the RA, and also exhibited at the RI, and the ROI, to which he was elected in 1935. Lloyd was a member of the Savage Club and London Sketch Club. He spent many summers in France, travelling through Europe and Africa. Norman Lloyd's work is represented in the Art Gallery of Western Australia, the Queensland Art Gallery, the University of Sydney Art Collection, and elsewhere.
