Rufus Ogundele
Rufus Ogundele worked on a grand scale using bold outlines and dominant colour, combining European artistic techniques with his African Yoruba culture and life. His work has been exhibited in Nigeria, U.S.A., U.K., Germany, Ghana, Kenya, Czechoslovakia, Canada and Japan. In 1966-68 Rufus Ogundele's works were shown in a Smithsonian Institution travelling exhibition, and were also featured at the Institute of Contemporary Art, London during this period.
