Heigham Holmes, Norfolk
Heigham Holmes is a remote island and 500 acre nature reserve in the Norfolk Broads, managed by the National Trust. It is home to marsh harriers, barn owls, bittern and crane, as well as wading birds such as lapwing and redshank, and is opened to the public just one day every year.
