Harry More Gordon

Harry More Gordon was a Scottish watercolourist noted for still lifes, flower paintings and portraits of families and groups. His eye-catching still lifes display a lively combination of elements and modern use of perspective. He was also a magazine illustrator and textile designer, and was in charge of graphic design at Edinburgh College of Art for 25 years until 1988. Harry More Gordon's works can be found in the collections of the National Gallery of Scotland, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, with the Scottish Arts Council and elsewhere.
