Henry Collins

Henry Collins was a painter, designer and teacher, born in Colchester, Essex. He worked as a freelance designer on commissions for the Central Office of Information and the Festival of Britain and others. He taught part-time in the Graphic Design Department at St. Martin’s School of Art in London, at Colchester School of Art and at adult education centres. He was a founder member of the Colchester Art Society, and worked with his wife, Joyce Pallot, on many public art projects, such as concrete murals, throughout the UK.
